Jackline is 23 years old and expecting her first child. As a soon to be single mother, Jackline was really worried about her financial instability and trying to support a child. Now, with the help of you and MED25, Jackline feels assured that she has access to the healthcare that both she and her child need throughout these next several months.
Each antenatal care kit includes a mosquito net to sleep under, water treatment drops to provide clean water for her entire pregnancy, a laboratory test for ongoing evaluations of maternal health, and medications including malaria prophylaxis, deworming, ferrous sulfate and folic acid. In addition, mothers visit the Med25 clinic each month during their pregnancy to receive maternal education and check ups from clinic professionals.
Jackline can now protect herself against waterborne illnesses and malaria, two things she has already struggled with in the first three months of her pregnancy. She is so happy to know that she does not need to worry about medical expenses, and now can focus her finances on preparing for the baby and proper nutrition in the coming months.
Thank you for supporting Jackline and ensuring a healthy start for her child!
